Mr. Aydın Erdemir, Vice Chairperson of Board of Directors of Toros Adana Yumurtalık Free Zone Founder and Operator (TAYSEB), which hosts the area where the petrochemical plant will be established, makes the following remark about the new investment: “Adana Yumurtalık Free Zone is ideal for the petrochemical and chemical industries’ investments. Employment in Çukurova will increase thanks to the secondary investments to be made in the wake of this investment. Adana Yumurtalık Free Zone that we are operating under Tekfen Holding’s assurance will soon become a centre of attraction where strategic investments will be made with the use of cutting edge technologies especially in the chemical and petrochemical lines. Thus, we will need new expansion areas.”
